Out exploring Hilston today we came across these trees on the banks of the Lachlan River with a huge flock of Corellas. Could I sneak up on them? I did, and I was rewarded with a few good snaps, somethings spooked them and they momentarily left their roost, just enough time for 3 snaps. Click on the photos to see them even bigger, wish I'd had my big zoom lens!
From a distance they looked like flowering magnolia's or something like that, but the noise once I got out of the car was unbelievable, must of been some sort of community meeting of all the local Corella's. Not something you see every day!
