Green with envy........just a little bit

Why you ask? My little sister is in New Zealand and I'm not with her. When we were young we lived in Auckland, New Zealand from 1979 until the end of 1984. I completed my high schooling over there and still keep in contact with a handful of special friends and have visited twice in the last 20 years. Little sis has never been able to return until this week and I am so pleased and excited for her. She has gone over to spend some time with her two very special school friends for just one week and the very cute bags above are their special pressies. I still haven't dug out my Better Homes and Gardens mag and made myself one, apparently it only takes about 1 1/2 hours to whip one up. I know Andrea and Adrienne will love their bags and I can't wait to see some photos of our old home town. I know I have a few kiwi readers, would love to hear from you!

Hi!! It's Adrienne here. I have just had the pleasure of your sisters company for a couple of days here in good old NZ. She hasn't changed a bit, and seems not to have aged at all!! We had a very special time together reminiscing and visiting old schools and the area you both spent time in while your family was living in NZ. It was great for her to be able to share in my family, the mad house that it is. Your blog is very impressive, and I find it most inspirational, enough to start my own sometime soon perhaps? You must be so proud of your family and should be very proud of yourself! Last but by no means least, I loved the bag that your sis' made for me!!! How could I not? She is very talented, just like yourself!! Love and Sunshine to your family, hope to see you and your families in NZ for the 50th school reunion in 2010 - start your wee saving fund now!! xoxoxo
