Lawnmowers

Now this is for the overseas readers or you city dwellers. Spotted these guys on my way home from netball this afternoon. They were having a lovely time mowing someones back lawn. Wish I could have gotten a little closer but they are wild and I'm sure they would have bounded away as they certainly had there eyes on me utilising my cameras maximum zoom to snap them. The drought has brought much of our wildlife in closer and spring lawn growth is just so irresistible.

Great photo Lisa! Even though I grew up in the country, and Kangaroos were plentiful, I still get a thrill when I see them in the wild.

I can't imagine kangaroos in my yard. LOL But, then I guess you might find our armadillos a bit odd.

We get armadillos (or evidence that they've been around) ALL the time. They leave little holes in the garden.
