Christmas is only around the corner

Sorry, I know you don't need reminding, but today I started my Christmas preparations. Started with an easy project, I recycle some cards from last year to come up with mine for this year. Fun and quick, don't they look great. I feel like I'm on my way now. This batch are destined for some sewing colleague's, now all I need to do it get their pressies finished too!

What a fantastic idea!!! Is the string sew straight onto the card with your sewing machine? What an inspiration you are, I really want to give it a go now even though I've already bought my xmas cards through redtractor.com.au. They donate a % of proceeds from the sales of the xmas cards to RFDS (royal flying doctors service). I buy them every year, they're great but I love this idea too!!

fabulous christmas cards. i love the fact that they are home made. i remember one year (when money was very tight) tracing santas onto card and handpainting them - took forever, but the effect was great. gotta love making stuff - does wonders for you!
