.................................what make me laugh out loud when reading in bed and boy does that annoy Dear Husband. He always asks what is so funny but it never seems quite so funny when I read it out loud, but once you start reading this highly addictive series by Janet Evanovich and get to know all the characters and the crazy things they get up to then you will understand why I laugh out loud. These books are so ridiculously funny I recommend them to anyone. I apologise for the really crap photo above, I stole it of the web because my collection of Stephanie Plum books are with a 79 year old friend of mine and she is ploughing her way through the 13 and a couple of novellas. She has a wicked sense of humour so I hope these books are tickling her fancy as they do mine.

I think I got up to number five and then moved on to something else and haven't returned. Not that I didn't like them - they are definately laugh out loud funny (my husband has the same problem with that as your husband does).

Big JE fan here. I've even read some of her earlier romance fiction. Not as good as the Plum novels, but you can see where Stephanie comes from in some of them. JE famously said she stopped writing romance fiction when she ran out of positions.
