Picked this up to day when checking out the two thrift stores for treasures, couldn't resist the turquoise and cream illustrated 1950's cover, just how I imagine Paris might be still. I might have to brush up on my high school French if I'm ever to ever experience the French culture first hand. I am very fortunate to have two friends who were born in France so I might have to enlist their help if I'm ever to succeed with this desire of mine to be able to one day to converse with ease in French. The illustrations throughout the text are equally as charming as the cover.
