Surfer Boy is home

He's home for the weekend, nice to see him but he sure can eat!  He's been accepted into the fulltime Royal Australian Navy starts 2nd May, finished his RAN Gap Year program on the 1st of May.  He has been employed in the first intake for the new category of Aviation Support (AVN) which has been created to cater for the RAN's soon to be commissioned new Canberra Class Amphibious Assault Ship (LHD).  In layman terms these two new ships are aircraft carriers for helicopters and landing craft, they are the biggest ships ever in the RAN history.
