Hot weather and a new project begins, a lively quilt for new year classes. A mad collection of Kaffe, stipes, Fresh Air, metallics and striped fabrics. I rewarded myself with a little walk down by the river, only 6 more blocks to prepare then the machine applique starts. It was nice to hibernate inside today, far to hot for me, I would have fried in 5 minutes. I love getting started on new things once the silly season is over, a time to unwind and create.
